There are so many business books out there. There’s plenty of great ones, but, in my opinion, too many written by charlatans and self-confessed ‘management consultants’ who waffle on about leadership and how to be a good manager and so on….Boring!
Not enough are authored by those who’ve actually been there & done it and got the proverbial T-shirt; even fewer by those who’ve failed more times than one cares to remember.
I’ve had businesses which have done well and paid me more money than any job would’ve. But I’ve also had plenty that didn’t go to plan – and this is where I truly believe the most is learned, hence why I wrote this short book.
The book actually started out as a different business book – one I’m close to finishing – but at one stage, one chapter with about 40 or 50 rules and tips for business was getting far too lengthy; I started to think that this could become a book in itself. Which it did, culminating in 126 rules & tips for any business and business owner.
